[How to Make a Non-Wall]

Open call to activate and engage the public imagination for original designs that envision the border between Mexico and the US as a site of connection, creativity, and humanitarian support.

Submissions are welcome in 2D, 3D, or video to become part of an online archive and gallery exhibition around this ongoing creative resistance project.

We seek designs that question and consider ideas for how to build a non-wall, signaling possibilities for what the future of walls, and borders, can become. We believe that remaining in solidarity with the movement against "Trump’s wall" is critical and necessary at this point in history.  For this reason we hope to hear from as many different voices and visions as possible.

Rolling Deadlines: January - March 15, 2018 to be included in the gallery exhibition and online archive
March - May 31, 2018 for the online archive
At the end of the submissions period we will select some of the most creative and engaging ideas for a limited edition printed book.
